Starting the season battling through sickness and injuries, early AM practices, players missing practice to finish up their fall sports and activities, preseason transfers, and anything and everything else to disrupt the chemistry of the team, the Lady Trojans STILL found themselves keeping up the winning tradition by defeating the Globe Tigers 51-37
Entering the second half down by 1, the Lady Trojans found their footing and put the foot on the gas accelerating passed the Tigers outscoring their opponent 30-15. Leading all scorers was Maddie Shapiro dropping 15 points after starting off cold in the first half. Jada Pourier place the team on her back scoring 7 out of 12 points in the third quarter to get the Trojans charged up. She finished with 13. Chloe Fraley added 11 points with her aggressive play. Welcoming back Hope Gomez from a shoulder injury, she chipped in 9.
This Friday and Saturday the Lady Trojans play host to the first round of the Phoenix Country Day Tournamnent. Come watch the Lady Trojans!!!!
